SELF-e provides local, self-published authors a way to submit their ebooks for circulation at Timberland Regional Library, other Washington libraries and possibly libraries nationwide. As an ebook discovery service authors can reach a wider audience and build buzz about their books. Distribution via the SELF-e platform is royalty-free and the license signed is non-exclusive.
Submit your ebook through the TRL SELF-e Submission page. You will be guided through the process, which includes:
- Viewing and accepting the terms of agreement.
- Providing general information about yourself, including name and address
- Submitting your file in ePub2, ePub3 or PDF format
- Entering basic metadata (title, author, subject, etc.)
Accepted ebooks become part of the Indie Washington SELF-e ebook collection. eBooks can be accessed and read through the BiblioBoard platform.
Some ebooks may also be selected by editors at Library Journal for inclusion in one of the national “best of” SELF-e genre collections.
If you’ve already submitted a book and are experiencing problems, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
In this digital ebook collection you can enjoy great reads from local Washington authors in the IndieWA collection and “best of” genre collections from indie authors nationwide.
